Whenever I post an article via the windowshelp.microsoft.com web site I always get the following message:
An error occurred while sending your post --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We're sorry, but there was a problem with the system and your post was not received. The error has been reported to Operations and will be investigated as soon as possible. Please try again later.
However, the post always goes through. Is this a common problem?

An error occurred while sending your post
Its a false-error bug in the web-based newsreader. Most of us here have gotten used to seeing the resulting multiple posts so don't worry too much about it. If you want to avoid it try using the newsreader in Windows Mail or if posting from an XP machine use OE.

This is a known bug. Almost every case where you see multiple posts on this newsgroup, it is caused by this problem.
If you use a news reader instead of the web site, you will get better results.
The address of this newsgroup is:
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general

I tried subscribing to microsoft.public.windows.vista.general, but my news server does not list microsoft.public.windows.vista. Is this branch somehow hidden from regular new feeds?
Is there a Microsoft news server I can directly connect to? I tried news.microsoft.net, but no luck.
